Onnut Area or another name Sukhumvit 77 is another populated area on Sukhumvit road. The area consistently gains popularity from the local Thais and foreigners for residential purposes due to easy access from BTS and expressway. Onnut area is viewed as an extension from Thonglor and Ekamai areas. Condominium prices in Onnut areas are considered more attainable than in Asoke, Thonglor, and Ekamai areas. Onnut BTS station is only a few stations away from the heart of Sukhumvit road and offers easy connections to MRT Yellow line, Orange line, and airport rail link.       

 

Amenities in Onnut areas are no lesser than other areas in urban Bangkok. Plenty of shopping malls, community malls, and street foods situate along Onnut road and nearby Sukhumvit road. The areas are highly convenient for family lifestyle with close proximity to schools (Bangkok Prep International School, Wells International School, Jindapon School) and hospitals.  

 

Onnut areas have grown at a similar rate as Thonglor area. But the living cost in Onnut areas is much cheaper than in Thonglor. There are many newly launched condominiums in Onnut with decent facilities. The capital gain in Onnut area increased at 5% on average, which is among the top 10 in Bangkok. 

Condominium in Onnut (Sukhumvit 77) areas price at 120,000 to 170,000 baht per sq.m. The areas have an investment opportunity for rentals due to consistent rental demand. Krungthai Compass reported an interesting rental yield at 4.8%. Therefore, Onnut is considered the area with potential for living and investing.
